Who pays the Venmo Goods & Services fee, the buyer or the seller?
The seller always pays this fee. The app automatically deducts the money before it hits the seller’s account. You can’t shift this fee to the buyer inside the app.
What is the Venmo fee for $100?
If you receive a $100 business transaction, the fee is 1.9% ($1.90) plus the $0.10 fixed fee. That equals $2.00. You would receive exactly $98.00.
Are there fees for receiving money from friends?
No. Receiving personal payments from friends is entirely free. Just make sure they don’t mark the payment as “Goods and Services”.
What is the Venmo Cash a Check fee?
