When enabled, Grailed's commission sale-price base uses the item price only. Buyer-paid label shipping is not seller revenue.
US domestic: 3.49% + $0.49. International: 4.99% + $0.49.
Important: Grailed's exact payout can vary because payment-processing fees depend on the payment setup and transaction, and some sellers may have VAT/GST charged on Grailed's commission.

If you do not use a Grailed Label, buyer-paid shipping is included in the commission sale-price base. Payment processing is calculated separately.

How to Use Grailed Fee Calculator

  • Set Locations: Choose your country to update the currency, and select the buyer’s location to apply the correct domestic or international processing rates automatically.
  • Enter Amounts: Input the sold price, the shipping charge, and your original item cost (to calculate your true profit margin).
  • Select Shipping Method: Check the “Grailed Label” box if you purchased your label directly through Grailed. This removes the shipping cost from your commission and revenue math.
  • Review Results: The dashboard at the top instantly calculates your final net profit, total fees, and profit margin as you type.

What are the Grailed fees?

1. Grailed Commission Fee
This is the fee Grailed charges for helping you sell your item through its marketplace.

2. Payment Processing Fee
This is the fee for handling the buyer’s payment and processing the transaction.

How Much Are Grailed Fees? How Much Are Grailed Fees?

When you sell an item on Grailed, you may pay two main fees:

1. Grailed Commission Fee

Grailed takes a percentage of your sale as a seller fee:

  • 9% for sales of $120 or more
  • 6% for sales under $120, with a $1.99 minimum fee

The fee is calculated from your sale price. If you charge the buyer for shipping and don’t use a Grailed Label, that shipping amount is included in the sale price. With a Grailed Label, Grailed uses the item price only.

2. Payment Processing Fee

Grailed also charges a separate fee for processing the buyer’s payment. The exact rate depends on your Stripe status and whether the payment is domestic or international.

For sellers onboarded with Stripe:

  • US domestic: 3.49% + $0.49
  • International: 4.99% + $0.49

Sellers who are Stripe-eligible but not onboarded pay:

  • US domestic: 3.49% + $0.99
  • International: 5.49% + $0.99

Sellers outside Stripe-eligible countries default to 4.99% + $0.49.

In simple terms

Your final payout is roughly:

Sale Price − Grailed Commission − Payment Processing Fee = Amount You Keep

For example, on a $150 sale, the Grailed commission is $13.50 (9%), and a separate payment processing fee is also deducted.

How do I calculate Grailed fees?

Formula:

Total Grailed Fees = Grailed Commission Fee + Payment Processing Fee

Then, to find what you keep:

Net Earnings = Sale Amount − Total Grailed Fees

Grailed fee example:

  • Sell for $50: Grailed commission = $3.00; processing = about $2.24; total fees ≈ $5.24; you keep ≈ $44.76.
  • Sell for $100: Grailed commission = $6.00; processing = about $3.98; total fees ≈ $9.98; you keep ≈ $90.02.
  • Sell for $150: Grailed commission = $13.50; processing = about $5.73; total fees ≈ $19.23; you keep ≈ $130.77.
  • Sell for $250: Grailed commission = $22.50; processing = about $9.22; total fees ≈ $31.72; you keep ≈ $218.28.
